Sample Itinerary (A)
20-48 people - 5 hour programme
   
9.45am Arrival at Kippure. Divide into appropriate number of groups of no more than 10-12.
   
10.00am

Begin Morning Woodland Ecology Study
This is designed to introduce students to the various flora and fauna found in oak woodland along with the processes involved in data collection.
   
12.00 noon Lunch
   
12.30pm Begin Afternoon Activities
Groups will rotate through the below activities with each lasting approx. 40 minutes:

Climbing - Low Ropes - Scavenger Hunt
   
2.30pm All teams meet for 'The Great Egg Challenge'
   
3pm Finish Activities and Depart.
   
'The Great Egg Challenge'
Whilst the students are on the Scavenger Hunt they will also be tasked with finding materials to protect an egg when it is either dropped from our 10 metre climbing tower or floated down the river Liffey in a race. There will be various small prizes awarded for the winner, best design and team spirit.
   

Cost: €30 per student*

Includes:  full day of activities, tea/coffee/biscuits on arrival for teachers & bus driver, all specialist equipment & instruction, & public liability insurance.

*Based on a minimum of 15 people, numbers must be confirmed 3 weeks prior to event
